About Uncommet
Each day Uncommet serves up eight prompts, and for every one you type a genuine answer and press Enter to launch it. The trick is to step around the obvious pick. An answer that plenty of people would give still counts and still moves you along, but one that only a handful would think of sends your rocket much farther.
The whole day's play is a single trip through space, with each answer adding distance. Rarity is what powers the rocket, so a deep-cut reply can carry it past the Moon and on toward Mars or even Pluto. Every answer has to be a real one, and the prompts change at midnight New York time.
How to play
- Read the prompt and think past the first answer that comes to mind.
- Type a real answer that fits what the prompt asks for.
- Press Enter to launch it and watch how far the rocket travels.
- Work through all eight prompts to finish the day's journey.
Tips
- Skip the first two or three answers that pop into your head; most players will have thought of them too.
- A common but correct answer still moves the rocket forward, so give something for every prompt rather than nothing.
