What stays in your browser

Your lineup, which games you have played and when, and your streak are saved in your browser’s local storage on this device. They are never sent to us. Clearing your browser’s site data removes them.

Visit counts

Page views are counted with Vercel Web Analytics, the statistics service of Vercel, the company that hosts this site. For each page you open it records the address of the page, the page that sent you here, your approximate location (country, region and city), your browser, operating system and device type, and the time. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. To tell visitors apart it uses a hash made from your request, which is discarded after 24 hours, so a visit cannot be followed from one day to the next. The counts are only ever seen in total.

Suggesting a game

When you send the form on the Suggest a game page, we keep what you typed into it: the game’s address, its name, its category, whether you made it, and your note. We use them to check the game and, if it fits, to list it, and we keep the suggestion afterwards as a record of what was suggested.

Your email address is optional. If you give one, it is used for one thing only: a single email telling you the game is listed. The address is deleted as soon as that email is sent, straight away if the game is not added, and after 180 days at the latest. That email is sent through Resend, an email delivery service.

The form goes to our own server. Like any request on the web it carries your network (IP) address. We use it only to limit how many suggestions one network can send (five an hour); it is never stored with your suggestion, and the counter that holds it clears itself within the hour.

Links to games

Every game is played on its own website. When you open one, that site’s own privacy policy applies. Links to games made by the team behind this site carry a short tag naming this site as the referrer.
