About Letter Grid
Letter Grid lays out sixteen letters, four across and four down. You build words by dragging through tiles that touch each other, one letter after the next, or by typing a word and pressing Enter. Each word you find adds to your score, and the clock gives you ninety seconds to collect as many as you can.
Length is where the points are, and a longer word earns a much bigger score than a short one. Letter Grid has no daily schedule; it is unlimited, so you can start another round the moment one ends.
How to play
- Look over the grid for common word endings and letter pairs.
- Drag across touching tiles to spell a word, or type it and press Enter.
- Find as many words as you can before the ninety seconds are up.
Tips
- Hunt for endings like -ING, -ED and -ER, then build longer words backward from them.
- Once you find a word, check whether adding a letter or two makes a longer one worth more.
Time and controls
A round takes about 90 seconds a round. Swipe across the letters on a phone; on a computer, drag with the mouse or type the word and press Enter.
