About Wordlock
Wordlock hides a five-letter word and lets you guess as many times as you need. After each guess, green and gold clues show which letters are placed right and which belong elsewhere. Crack the word and another one appears, with a few more seconds added to the running clock, so a good streak keeps the run going.
This is not a daily puzzle, so you can start a new run whenever you want and replay it as often as you like. No word has a guess limit; the only thing that ends a run is the clock running out, so solving quickly keeps you alive longer.
How to play
- Type or tap a five-letter word and press Enter to guess.
- Use the green and gold clues to narrow down the hidden word.
- Solve the word to add time to the clock and get the next one.
- Keep going until the clock runs out.
Tips
- Since guesses are unlimited, use early guesses to test common letters rather than trying to hit the answer at once.
- Speed matters more than guess count, so a quick guess that rules out letters beats a long pause.
Time and controls
A round takes about 3–6 minutes per run. Tap the letters on a phone or type them on a computer, then press Enter; Esc pauses.
