About Paint by Nation
Paint by Nation shows you an unpainted flag and a set of paints. You pick a color, tap a section of the flag to fill it, and repeat until the design looks right, then submit it. The game works through all 195 countries, so you will meet familiar flags alongside plenty you may have to dig out of memory.
You get three lives and there is no clock, so you can take as long as you need on each flag. Easy and Hard settings let you pick the level. It is not a daily puzzle, and you can replay it as often as you like, starting fresh whenever you want.
How to play
- Choose Easy or Hard before you begin.
- Pick a paint, then tap each section of the flag to color it.
- Press Submit when the flag matches what you remember.
- Keep going through the countries while you still have lives left.
Tips
- Picture the flag before you start painting and fill the largest areas first, then the details.
- With no clock, double-check each stripe and section before submitting, since you only have three lives.
Time and controls
A round takes about 5–30 minutes. On a phone, tap a paint and then the flag; on a computer, click, or use keys 1 to 8, Enter to submit and P to pause.
