What Wardle is
Wardle is a War Thunder quiz in which the answer is one secret vehicle, a tank, a plane or a ship, depending on which of its three daily categories you open. Each vehicle you name is compared with the secret one on stats such as nation, class, battle rating and top speed, and colored cells and arrows steer your next pick.
How a round works
The Ground daily asks for any vehicle to start. Every guess is checked on eight properties: nation, the vehicle class (light tanks through tank destroyers to SPAA), its battle rating, top speed and weight, how many crew it carries, the bore of its main gun, plus its status as a regular tech-tree vehicle or a premium, event or squadron one. Green marks a match, a close result flags a near value (within 1.0 BR, 8 km/h, 6 tons, one crew member or 15 mm), and arrows point higher or lower. Guesses are unlimited, so the aim is to need few. Air and naval dailies run alongside, and Endless mode gives unlimited extra rounds.
When Wardle resets
One puzzle for everyone, changing at 12:00 a.m. UTC: 7:00 p.m. Eastern in winter and 8:00 p.m. Eastern in summer, when New York moves its clocks forward.
When the other daily games reset is on one page of reset times.
Good if you like…
- Clasherdle: Clasherdle runs a similar color-and-arrow comparison on Clash Royale troops, spells and buildings, but caps you at six tries where Wardle lets you keep guessing.
- Total War: Warhammer: Total War: Warhammer also leans on unit statistics from a war game, identifying units by their numbers or their portraits, alongside spell and map modes.
- R6dle: R6dle is about a shooter rather than tanks, but one of its modes also asks you to recognize hardware, a weapon judged by its stats, next to operator, room and rank puzzles.
- Callofdutydle: Callofdutydle keeps the military setting but guesses people, not machines: Call of Duty characters matched on faction, rank, role and nationality, and quotes or pictures unlock further in.
