About Fold
Fold shows a target shape on a card and gives you an origami square to work with. You drag one part of the sheet across the rest to make a fold, then fold again, building up layers until the paper's silhouette lines up with the card. Planning ahead helps, since every fold changes what the next one can do.
Each sheet has a par, the fold count to aim for, and the goal is to match or beat it. A day brings five sheets, and a new batch is released at midnight New York time, so the shapes are different every day.
How to play
- Study the target outline and picture how the paper could fold into it.
- Drag part of the sheet over itself to make a fold.
- Keep folding until the paper matches the outline.
- Try to finish each sheet in par or fewer folds.
Tips
- Look at the target's straight edges; each one usually marks where a fold line has to go.
- Picture the whole sequence before your first fold, since an early fold in the wrong place can cost extra folds later.
Time and controls
A round takes about 3–5 minutes. Drag the paper with a finger or mouse to fold it; on a keyboard, the arrow keys and Enter also work.
