What Terradle is
Terradle turns the weapons of Terraria into a daily guessing puzzle: name the hidden weapon of the day, and each guess comes back with its stats lined up against the answer. Damage, rarity and how the item is obtained all light up in color, so the field of possible weapons shrinks with every try. The game was made by cxhuy.
How a round works
Type a weapon and its row of stats appears. Green marks a stat that matches exactly. Red marks a miss, and number stats carry an arrow, so Damage 54 with an up arrow means the answer hits harder. Yellow appears only in the obtained column, for a weapon that shares at least one source with the answer. Rarity points to how far into Terraria a weapon becomes available. Extra help comes on a schedule: the selling price at three guesses, the tooltip at seven, and a picture once you reach eleven. Tools, consumables and phasesabers are excluded, anything you can shimmer counts as a material, and crate drops are filed under chests.
Good if you like…
- Terrariadle: Terrariadle draws on the same game but spreads into several quizzes, such as naming an NPC, grouping items Connections style and hangman, rather than one weapon hunt.
- Smitedle: Smitedle runs the same compare-the-attributes loop for a SMITE 2 god, checking pantheon, roles and damage, and adds emoji and picture help later on.
- Cocdle: Cocdle asks about Clash of Clans units and structures, mixing an attribute-matching mode with rounds built on a sound, a pixelated image or a short text.
- Steamdle: Steamdle stays with video games but asks for a whole game instead of an item, working from Steam player reviews with a new clue after every miss and six guesses.
