What Geozee is
Nine countries arrive one at a time in Geozee, a geography puzzle, and each has to go into one of nine boxes that score it. The boxes pay out for facts about a nation, from being an island to having many neighbors or a leaf on its flag, so the skill lies in matching each country to the box where it earns most. The page carries a beta tag and a Worldle credit.
How a round works
On the board checked for this page, no box paid more than 100 points. Four were all or nothing: Island Nation, Landlocked, and two flag boxes paying out for a plant or leaf and for a star or sun. The other five scaled. Neighbours gave 10 points per border; Urban, Human Development and Wet rewarded a high urban share, HDI and rainfall; and Green rewarded low carbon dioxide output per person, dropping to zero above 10 metric tons. Tap a box and the country lands in it with its points shown at once,. After the ninth placement the round ends, with your total shown over a figure fixed for the day.
Good if you like…
- GeoRankle: GeoRankle is the nearest match: countries are paired one-to-one with categories again, eight of each, but every pick is judged by world rank rather than points per box.
- Match the Country: Match the Country also slots eight nations into eight labeled spots, like most populous or highest peak, and scores each placement by that country's actual world ranking.
- GeoGrid: GeoGrid also leans on flag and membership traits across nine cells, but you pick which country fills each cell from row and column rules, and rarer right answers rank higher.
- Order the Country: Order the Country works with similar statistics, neighbor counts among them, but lines up eight nations along a single measure and gives partial credit for near placements.
