What morsle is
morsle beeps out a secret word in Morse code for you to decode by ear. The beeps start fast and get slower as attempts are used up, so each later guess comes from a calmer playback. Remote Ham Radio presents the daily challenge; a Practice Mode link is placed above the game.
How a round works
Before you begin, a Test button checks the volume, with a reminder that a phone in silent mode will stay quiet. The game screen shows blank letter slots, a Play at 40 WPM button and a count of 21 remaining. Each playback buys exactly one guess, so hearing the word again is how you earn the next attempt. The tempo is 40 words per minute at first, falling by 5 after every third try. Gaps are allowed in a guess, and letters you place correctly turn green; nothing else is flagged. The on-screen keyboard prints each letter's dot-dash pattern on its key, and a switch swaps it for a plain QWERTY layout.
Good if you like…
- Morsle (decipher.wiki): Shares the name and the Morse theme but works the other way round: you key in guesses as dots and dashes, Wordle style, with a hideable letter chart instead of audio.
- Rushdle: Uses the same slow-down trick on music: three song previews start at triple speed and each wrong guess brings the clip closer to normal, with fewer points left to win.
- Perfect Pitch Puzzle: Another ear-training puzzle with a keyboard to answer on: you hear a short melody and play back its opening six notes, and colored feedback marks misplaced and missing notes.
- Disney Heardle: Also starts from sound alone, though here the clip is a Disney song intro that gets longer, not slower, after every miss or skip until the title comes to you.
