What Wallstreetle is
Wallstreetle asks you to identify a listed company from its share-price chart, financial figures and written hints, with four attempts per stock. Daily stocks are grouped into market categories, starting with Household Name, and two more modes sit on the home page: Compare the Pair, which puts two stocks head to head, and Trivia Rush, labeled for experts.
How a round works
The puzzle screen leads with a price chart, the company's name hidden, that you can switch between one month and ten years, plus its ten-year change. Under it, Financial Clues come in four tiers, Basics, Growth, Value and Valuation, and Company Hints in four kinds, legal history, a weakness, the founder and brands; only the first of each is open at the start, and every miss unlocks more. Type a company or browse the full list of stocks, then submit. Skip and Give Up buttons sit alongside, and a timer runs. Four misses end the round, and a correct answer earns coins to put into a paper portfolio. Past days and six further categories need a paid membership.
Good if you like…
- Chartdle: Chartdle is the nearest match, an unnamed price chart to identify, though its answers may also be futures contracts or currency pairs and it allows six tries rather than four.
- Brandle: Brandle also asks for a company, but works from a blurred logo over eight attempts, with clues such as its home country and the year it was founded.
- Guess The Logo: Guess The Logo is a brand puzzle as well, a blurred logo that sharpens after each miss or skip, with five chances and no financial data to read.
- PricedIn: PricedIn deals in prices too: it reveals what a product cost in one year, then asks you to estimate it for five other decades, aiming within ten percent.
