Squaredle is a daily word search with a twist: instead of straight lines, you swipe through letters that touch, in any direction, diagonals included, to spell words in a compact square of letters. The goal is to find every word on the day's list, 36 of them on one recent puzzle, and tapping the word count shows the words you have and offers hints. A shorter Express puzzle is added daily next to the main grid. The satisfaction is in clearing the whole list.
Ranking puts path tracing first: games where a word is a route through neighboring tiles. The closest keep Squaredle's find-them-all goal, and the next add a timer, a hidden long word or friends to race. Last are three that keep the letter grid but change the job, filling in a quote, placing letters yourself or picking them in reading order.
